I lived at 14 Coke Street, Cheetham Hill which was demolished in 1962/3. I went to North Salford Boys’ School on Leicester Road, Higher Broughton, which is featured in this photograph.
The teachers are (top left) English teacher Mr Johnson, from Wales, (middle) the Headteacher Mr “Pop” Target and (right) Mr Wansel, who was a good rugby player. The lad holding the cup was called Mike Darkin.

Lad holding the cup is Mike Darkin, next to him is Ian Stanton, middle row far right, Peter Green and top row second in is Gary Angold. Can’t remember a Hancock?
